PURPOSE:To prevent excessive frictional heat from generating and consequently warpage and wrinkles from generating on the rear surface of a board by a method wherein grooves are provided on the mounting surface of a flange part in a spin welding member having the flange part, which is to be welded to the resin board. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 13 are provided on the mounting surface 11a of a flange part 11 in a resin spin welding member having the flange part 11, a columnar part 10 and engaging projections 12 to be engaged with a rotary jig. Through the phenomena of 'heat transfer to rear surface' or of the generation of wrinkles, warpage and the like on the rear surface of a board 17 may occur due to excessive frictional heat when the resin board 17, onto which the flange part is welded, is thin, the provision of the grooves 13a on the flange part 11 prevents the above-mentioned phenomena of 'heat transfer to rear surface' from developing, because excessive heat is effectively dissipated through the grooves and consequently does not be transmitted to the rear surface of the board 17. In addition, the molten resin 17a advances into the grooves, resulting in strongly integrating both the board and the flange part with each other. |
