PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide analyzers that improve tests for detecting specific cellular, viral, and molecular targets in clinical, industrial, or environmental samples.SOLUTION: An imaging analyzer comprises: a housing for accepting a sample container having a detection range with a shortest linear dimension of 1 mm or more; a photoelectric array detector for high-sensitivity imaging detection of individual microscopic targets at low magnification; imaging optics for magnification by less than 5 fold; LEDs for illumination of the sample container; a lens for collimating and collecting the LED emitted light; and an LED emission filter. In addition, targets are configured to have specific selectivity by specifically bound labels and a magnetic particle including a target is able to magnetically move to allow for magnetically specific selection by a device comprising a magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
