PURPOSE:To enable the preparation of small amount of sealed raw KONJAK (paste made from root of devil's tongue) at a low cost without necessitating expensive hot- molding machine, by packing a raw KONJAK in a synthetic resin bag, putting a number of the KONJAK-containing synthetic resin bags in a compression-molding vessel in pressurized state and heat-treating the pressurized KONJAK together with the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A piece of raw KONJAK is packed in a synthetic resin bag by conventional method and a number of the obtained KONJAK-containing bags put into a compression-molding vessel in pressurized state. The number of raw KONJAK pieces contained in the vessel is heat-treated together with the compression-molding vessel. The above compression-molding vessel 2 has the following structure. It is provided with a rectangular parallelepiped main body 4 of the vessel having an opening 6 at the top and with a lid 8 closing the opening 6 in a freely openable manner. A sliding plate 16 for press is slidably attached in the main body 4 of the vessel. A number of raw KONJAK pieces packed in the synthetic resin bags are put into the main body 4 and the pressing slide plate 16 is shifted inward to effect the compression molding of a number of packed raw KONJAK pieces. |
