PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent temp. stability and usability by incorporating an org. modified clay mineral obtained by treating a water-expandable clay mineral with an ammonium salt-modified organopolysiloxane, silicone oil, and water into the composition. CONSTITUTION:(a) The org. modified clay mineral obtained by dispersing a water-expandable clay mineral and an ammonium salt-modified organopolysiloxane having at least one ammonobase in one molecule in a solvent, agitating the dispersion, and removing the solvent and (b) silicone oil are mixed and dispersed to form an oil phase. (c) The water is added to the oil phase, agitated, and mixed to obtain the water-in-oil type emulsion composition. The obtained emulsion composition has excellent temp. stability and usability, and can be appropriately used for cosmetics, and medicines. The content of the (a) component in the emulsion composition is preferably controlled to 0.5-3wt%, the content of the (b) component is adjusted to 10-80wt%, and the content of the (c) component is regulated to 10-90wt%. |
