PURPOSE:In producing conjugated yarn by interlacing silk of cocoon after reeling with other yarn, to obtain conjugated yarn having smaller unevenness and stabler fineness than the conventional case of fineness detection of conjugated yarn, regulating only fineness of silk of cocoon before interlacing. CONSTITUTION:Silk of cocoon (a) reeled from cocoons in a bath 2 is passed through a kennel mechanism 5, sent through guide rollers 12 and 13 to a feed roller 14, the silk of cocoon and other fiber (b) are passed through an air jet nozzle 11, interlaced into conjugated yarn and wound. In the operation, a slit friction type fineness sensor 6 is set between the kennel mechanism 5 and the air jet nozzle 11 to detect the fineness of the silk (a) of cocoon and an end finding lever 10 is operated through a fineness detecting lever 8 and an end finding device 9 depending upon the detected value to control the fineness of the silk (a) of cocoon. |
