发明名称 STABILIZER CONTROL METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the change of steering characteristics in the non-operation of a stabilizer for a vehicle by fixing front and rear intervals in the control of the stabilizer when the intervals have neared a boundary value, in setting the intervals variably. CONSTITUTION:When ECU 20 has made a changeover valve non-excited, the upper chamber 37 and the lower chamber 38 of a cylinder 33 become continuous to each other, a piston 35 turns to be slidable and a front or a rear interval formed by the fitting part of a stabilizer bar 2 and a lower arm 4 becomes variable. And said interval is detected by a stroke switch 32 and inputted to the ECU 20. Upon detecting the fact that the interval has reached a maximum or a minimum, the ECU 20 excites the changeover valve 40, thereby making said chambers 37 and 38 discontinuous to each other, the piston 35 incapable of sliding and said interval fixed. According to the aforesaid constitution, the change of steering characteristics can be prevented even in the non-operation of a stabilizer.
