PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency by installing a sintered diamond or sintered CBN tip at the top edge part of a supersonic wave working machine, thus reducing the replacement frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a stop hole is worked onto a workpiece made of quartz, a supersonic working machine equipped with a tool having a PCD or CBN tip 21 which consists of a sintered diamond layer 21a and a superhand alloy layer 21b fitted by solder 22 at the top edge is used. Then, then workpieces can be worked by one tool, and the dimension precision can be fulfilled. Therefore, by installing the PCD or CBN tip at the top edge of the tool, the life of the tool can be prolonged several - several ten times in comparison with the conventional case, and working precision can be improved, and the productivity of the supersonic working machine can be increased by leaps and bonds. |
