PURPOSE:To improve the emulsion stability and dispersion stability of the title composition in a wide temp. range and to enhance the safety for the skin with respect to its irritating property by incorporating the fine powder of animal hair having 0.01-30mum mean particle diameter to prepare the emulsion composition. CONSTITUTION:The fine powder of animal hair having 0.01-30mum mean particle diameter, or preferably 0.5-5mum, is incorporated by 0.1-10wt%, or preferably 0.5-5wt%, to prepare the emulsion composition. Wool, mink hair, fur such as mohair, the feathers and wings of such birds as goose, duck, and fowl are used as the animal hair. The natural animal and vegetable oil and fat such as paraffin oil, hydrocarbons such as squalene, paraffin wax, and ceresin, olive oil, and spermaceti are exemplified as the oil to be used for the emulsion composition. The content of the oils in the composition is generally controlled to 20-80wt%. The emulsion composition can be utilized for food, paint, medicines, cosmetics, etc. |
