PURPOSE:To improve abrasion resistance by cutting the angle of top part on both sides of a main zigzag groove as regards cut starting verge, in circumferential direction and as regards termination verge, at slant and forming a recess as if it is caught at the center of the cut starting verge by saip, in a radial tyre for bus and others. CONSTITUTION:Each angle 5 shown by the virtual lines of top parts 3, 3' on both sides of a zigzag main groove 2a is cut in the circumferential direction by the base BC of DELTAABC forming a cut starting verge 6 and cut at slant 8 so that the sides BD and CD may be positioned on the side wall of the main groove 2. And a recess 9 is formed in the side direction of the central part of the cut starting verge 6a and saips 10, 10 are provided on both sides of the recess 9. By this constitution, biased abrasion is restrained and abrasion resistance performance can be improved. |
