<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition for use in, for example, bonding between metal and fluororubber, suitable for production of oil seal, valve stem seal, etc., comprising an aromatic glycidylamine resin, novolak type phenolic resin, and curing agent therefor. CONSTITUTION:The objective blend comprising (A) an aromatic glycidylamine resin (e.g. tetraglycidyl diaminodiphenylmethane), (B) a novolak type phenolic resin [pref. with a melting point 100-150 deg.C and molecular weights ca. 1,000; of formula (R1 and R2 are each H or alkyl)], and (C) a curing agent therefore (e.g. an amine compound, phosphorus compound). This blend is applied on a metal followed by contact with an uncured fluororubber, being cured under pressure, thus effecting bonding between them.</p> |
