PURPOSE:To obtd. a stereoscopic video by dividing a screen and disposing a polarizing filter by which the polarization directions are mutually intersected orthogonally in front of a television receiver and seeing by a glasses with a polarization filter. CONSTITUTION:The polarization filter for passing a V polarization wave is provided at the right eye part of the glasses for seeing the screen of the receiver 1, and the polarization filter for passing the H polarization wave is provided at the left eye. When the picture is reproduced by the receiver 1 in case of scanning an A area, the video signal of a stereoscopic camera corresponding to the right eye is projected, and when a B area is scanned, the video signal of the stereoscopic camera corresponding to the left eye is projected and the video signal is switched to project. For instance, previously, a vertical scanning period is divided correspondingly to the A, B areas and the video signals of the stereoscopic camera corresponding to the right eye and the left eye are projected correspondingly to the divided periods respectively. A viewer can see an image picked up by the two cameras corresponding to the right and the left eyes by the glasses substantially simultaneously. Thereby, the image projected on the receiver 1 can be caught as a stereoscopic picture. |
