PURPOSE:To order many dishes through one magnetic card reader at a restaurant where magnetic cards are used by providing an arithmetic controller which calculates the charge and controls the magnetic card reader. CONSTITUTION:When the magnetic card 10 is inserted into the card reader 9, the arithmetic controller 4 enters a stand-by state. Then when one of the keys of a menu key part 1 is pressed, a register in a register part 2 corresponding to the pressed key is set. The arithmetic controller 4, on the other hand, calculates the total amount of money with an input from the register part 2 and an input depression part from a total key 8 and displays the total amount and the card reader 9 rewrites the record on the card 10 regarding the charge. Further, when a disk is canceled in the middle of the ordering, a one disk cancel key 6 or all-cancel key is pressed. Consequently, many dishes are ordered through one card reader. |
