New phenoxyisobutyric acids, their derivatives and processes for producing them

The subject of the invention is a new family of chemical compounds useful in the field of therapeutic chemistry and a process for producing them. More particularly, the subject is arylpropenonylaryloxyisobutyric acids and their derivatives of general formula I: <IMAGE> in which Z is a hydroxyl which is free or in the salt form, an alkoxy or an amino radical. The compounds of general formula I are used as active principles of hypolipemic and/or hypocholesterolemic medicaments.
