A power-steering system has a working piston (14) which is installed in the transmission housing and engages with a threaded spindle (4). The working piston (14) drives, via a toothing (16), a steering shaft (17) which bears a steering segment (18). A rotary slide rail (6) which interacts with a control bushing (7) of the threaded spindle (4) is provided on a steering spindle (1). A reaction piston (3) is supported on the steering spindle (1) via a central centring device (2). An axially sprung corrugated tube (44) is installed between the reaction piston (3) and a bushing (43) which is fixed to the threaded spindle (4). In the event of rotation of the steering spindle (1) in relation to the threaded spindle (4), the V-shaped rotations (40, 41) rotate with respect to one another so that rollers (42) push a centring element (38), and with it the reaction piston (3), to the left. The corrugated tube (44) absorbs the axial displacement of the reaction piston (3) in a sprung fashion. The axial force exerted on the reaction piston (3) by the corrugated tube (44) has added to it a hydraulic pressure force which is dependent on the working pressure and acts in a reaction space (47). This pressure force exerts an additional restoring moment, via the reaction piston (3) and the central centring device (2), counter to the direction of rotation applied to the steering spindle (1). <IMAGE>
