The invention relates to a ring rail 1 on a ring-spinning machine, with lubricated spinning rings 2 and with ear-shaped travellers 6 rotating respectively on these. According to the invention, at least one action element is assigned to each spinning ring 2 underneath the ring rail 1, the action element 9 being located, in the direction of movement of a yarn tail 8 of a cop package 7, approximately 90 DEG in front of the region of closest proximity of the spinning ring 2 to lubricant-wetted surfaces 13 of the ring rail 1.
