PURPOSE:To obtain grain like beautiful quality feeling and excellent strength and durability, by a method wherein sliced veneers are wound so that the fiber directions thereof cross and uniform pressure is applied to the wound veneers from the entire outer peripheral surface thereof to compress and contract the sliced veneers spirally wound in a laminated state to mold the same in an ultra-dense state. CONSTITUTION:Sliced veneer A is spirally wound around a shaft B for forming the inner diameter of a wooden laminated pipe from one end thereof to the other end thereof and tapes C are wound around both ends of the wound sliced veneer to prevent the unwinding of the sliced veneer A. An adhesive is applied to the entire outer peripheral surface of the wound sliced veneer and separate sliced veneer A-1 is spirally wound therearound in the direction opposite to the previous winding direction from one end thereof to the other end thereof so that the fiber directions cross each other. Tapes C-1 are wound around both ends thereof and uniform pressure is applied to the wound veneers from the entire outer peripheral surface D-1 thereof toward the center E of the shaft B to compress and contract the sliced veneers A, A-1 spirally wound in a laminated form to perform ultra-dense molding and, after the adhesive is solidified, the pressure applied to the entire outer peripheral surface is released. When the shaft B is pulled off and the tape wound parts at both ends are cut, a wooden laminated pipe can be obtained. |
