<p>PURPOSE:To prevent both an eccentric load to a caliper and maldistributed wear of a friction pad and reduce the manufacturing cost, by forming an attaching arm of a cylinder body, a supporting arm of a sliding pin, and a reacion claw onto a yoke in such a manner that all of these items are integrated into one body together with making the reaction claw touch a side-piece of a reaction part of the yoke. CONSTITUTION:In a disc brake 1, a caliper 3 is supported to a bracket 2 of a car body by a sliding pin 4. In this case, the caliper 3 is formed by forming a reaction claw 11, which is arranged on the reaction force side straddling the periphery of a disc rotor 10, onto a yoke 5 as an integrated body together with an attaching arm 7 of a cylinder body 6, a supporting arm 8 of the sliding pin 4, and a bridge part 9. Each part, which forms the caliper 3, is manufactured by folding a sheet of punched steel plate. In addition, the tip of the reaction claw 11 is folded inward so that the claw 11 is able to evenly push the friction pad 14 by pressure. At the same time, a projected piece 11a, which is provided so that it is projected to the reaction-part-side- piece (5b) side of the yoke 5, is brought in contact with a projection 5d, which is placed at the inner surface of the said side-piece 5b.</p> |
