摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stable display with high duty by forming the thin film semiconductor of amorphous silicon on an insulating substrate as a switching transistor (TR) and supplying a video signal to a liquid crystal driving electrode through this switching TR. CONSTITUTION:A source area 404 connected to the liquid crystal driving electrode 409, a semiconductor area 412 made of amorphous silicon, a drain area 403 connected to drain wiring, and a gate electrode connected to the semiconductor area 412 through an insulating film are formed on a substrate 401, the source area 404 and semiconductor area 412, and drain area 403 and semiconductor area 412 are connected one over the other, and the source area 404, semiconductor area 412, drain area 403, and gate electrode 406 form the thin film TR. When a scanning signal is inputted to y1 and a driving input is supplied to x2, only the switching TR 301a turns on and the driving input is applied to a capacitor 302a and a liquid crystal display body 303a. Consequently, a stable image display having no crosstalk is obtained.</p>
