PURPOSE:To control the optimum density corresponding to printing information, by changing the output voltage of a developing bias power source on the basis of the control order from a higher rank apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A bias power source 4 for changing the developing bias voltage of a developing device 3 and a microprocessor 8 for emitting the driving order of the bias power source 4 on the basis of the order from a higher rank apparatus 10 are mounted. When the higher rank apparatus 10 sends an order enhancing density, said order is analyzed in the microprocessor 8 and the analytical result is outputted to an output port 9. The value thereof is inputted to the developing bias power source 10 and output changes. By raising bias voltage, the adhesion amount of toner increases and printing density can be enhanced. |
