The description is given of a multi-part wooden support for erecting single-storey or multi-storey buildings. The support comprises a square central element and four rectangular side elements connected thereto, with the result that a statically effective overall cross-section is obtained. The side elements extend over in each case one side surface of the central element as far as the edges thereof and exhibit, on their side surface opposite the surface in contact with the central element, a grooving for the connection of further structural parts.
