Since there are hard visible annual rings in many types of wood, the drill bit pushes towards the soft point during drilling. The drilled hole is thus inaccurate and out of line. Accurate drilling in particle boards is not possible either, because the material is crumbly. Accurate drilling can only be achieved if the material and drilling machine are firmly clamped. The advantage of the invention: The material to be drilled is firmly clamped on the vertically adjustable drilling table. The stop is used for lateral adjustment and is screwed down tight. The drilling apparatus is firmly connected to the drilling table by locking. Main components in the lower region are the sliding rails and the round bar, these being arranged so that the slide which is slid over them can be moved together with drilling machine receptacle. With the aid of the lever, the slide together with the drilling machine is pushed to the right and drilling begins. For accurate drilling depth setting, the round bar is fixed to the drilling machine receptacle.
