Driving pulley

The driving pulley for a cable drive system has a rim (3) with a V-shaped cross-section, connected by radial spokes to a hub. The rim has a rounded floor which is fitted with a liner made in two parts (4, 6). The first part (4) which is in direct contact with the pulley rim is made of low friction bearing material and is attached by rivets (7) to the second part (6) which is made from strips of elastically deformable material. The cable (8) is in contact with this elastically deformable material.
