On closing the door, the bottom door gap is sealed by a rubber profile (21) running onto a sill (1). The rubber profile is fastened on a retaining strip (20) which is received by a grooved housing (10). The retaining strip is suspended on two leaf springs (14) in the form of flat Vs. The normal position of said springs is such that the retaining strip has a top position and the rubber profile is accommodated completely by the housing. The retaining strip moves downwards when slides (15), assigned to the respective leaf springs, are moved inwards, by an adjusting screw (17) being turned, in each case from the housing end, with the aid of a spanner. <IMAGE>
