The present invention relates to a measuring instrument 1 for measuring depth and angle on external or internal bevelling 2 on a measurement object 3, the measuring instrument having a body 4 and a measuring blade 5 arranged displaceably thereon, and a measurement scale and a marking interacting therewith being arranged so as to measure the displacement of the measuring blade in relation to the body. For the purpose of producing a measuring instrument which, irrespective of the displacement of the measuring blade, always allows reliable control thereof without play and which also allows displacement and locking of the measuring blade with one hand, the measuring blade 5 is arranged at the front on a slide 8 which is mounted displaceably on the body 4 and has one part 9 of a measurement scale 9, 10, the other part 10 of which is arranged on the body 4, and the slide has a displacement lock 11 which can be manoeuvred with the same hand as displaces the slide in relation to the body in such a manner that the slide can on the one hand be freed for displacement by pressing the displacement lock in and on the other hand be locked against displacement by virtue of the displacement lock moving back again when released. <IMAGE> |
