The air cooling appts. involves inlet (2) and outlet (11) apertures between which are a fan (5), a cooling battery (7) with one or more cooling coils, and an after-heating condenser (9). The fan feeds air for passage firstly through the cooling battery (7), and then through the after-heating condenser (9). - A unit (6) is provided for altering the direction of flow of passing air, and contains components which produce an even flow seal over a predetermined surface. Such components comprise perforated plates, and between the inlet aperture (2) and the fan (5) is an adjustable throttle (4). The cooling battery (7), the after-heating condenser (9) and pref. a compressor (13) are series-connected through conduits (14,15,16,18,20,22, 24,26) for a medium such as freon which can be either liquid or gas-form. |
