PURPOSE:To obtain an ink sheet capable of being effectively used in imparting aroma to printed matter, by providing a binder layer having microcapsules each encapsulating perfume and opened by pressure or heating dispersed therein. CONSTITUTION:The microcapsules 3 dispersed in the ink layer 2 or a base film 1 are prepared by the a coacervation of a gelatin-gum arabic system and, as perfume to be encapsulated, menthol and eugenol etc. being natural perfume, vaniline and methyl salicylate etc. being synthetic perfume and, further, composition obtained by appropriately preparing said perfumes can be used. The microcapsules 3 in the ink sheet are transferred to a material 4 to receive transfer along with the ink layer 2 at the time of printing and destructed by the printing pressure between the material 4 to receive transfer and a printing head 5 to impart aroma to the material 5 to receive transfer. When pressure is applied to the microcapsules, said microcapsules are destructed at parts where a film thickness is reduced and perfume is volatilized to generate aroma and, at parts where the film thickness is increased, a volatilization speed is suppressed and aroma can be generated over a long time. |
