Holding device for a radiator, water heater, water storage device or the like which is to be fixed to a building wall by means of hooking in. On the rear side, of the apparatus (3), facing said wall (2) there is a hook which is directed downwards with its open side and is assigned to an extension of the holding device fixed to the wall. The holding device (1) is constructed as a one-piece sheet-metal strip part which is multiply bent and has directly two extensions (8,9) which are arranged at a vertical distance one above the other, can be selectively used for hooking in the apparatus (3) and are directed upwards. <IMAGE>
