Given a flush-mounting installation box for sanitary fittings, the flush-mounted lines being guided through side walls into the installation box and being connected to one or more sanitary fittings, the invention provides, for simple mounting and diverse use, that the installation box has, in the region of the connection lines, extensions in which there are arranged flexible line pieces for the connection of the sanitary fitting, and that the installation box has, in the floor region, reinforcing rails which run parallel to the extensions and by means of which the installation box can be fastened on a building wall or the like.
