PURPOSE:To obtain the standard time of a selected region, by a method wherein zone codes are attached to all the regions of the world so as to make code difference equal to a time diffeence and the difference of the zone code of a reference zone and the changed-over zone code is added to and subtracted from a reference time. CONSTITUTION:When New York is used as a reference zone to perform setting, a zone code 01110 is stored in an initial code memory 10 and the hr, and min data of a clock circuit 3 is preset to a world time counter 5 while the zone code is preset to a presettable counter 11. A comparison circuit 14 detects the coincidence of the code of the memory 10 and the zone code and the month and date data of the clock circuit 3 is displayed by a display part 7. When London is set, the output of a change-over means 9 comes to 01001 and non-coincidence is detected by the comparison circuit 13 while the zone code after change is taken in the counter 11 and the pulse C5 from a control circuit 8 is added to the time figure of the counter 5 and the counter 11 until coincided with the countent of the memory and the counter 5 comes to the standard time of London to be displayed by a display part 7. |
