<p>PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of the power consumption by using a designated telephone set to control the power supply to an optional telephone set so as to interrupt the power supply to said telephone set when the telephone set is not required for the use. CONSTITUTION:The data of a key operation is sent to the microcomputer 6 of a master equipment 1 through a keyboard 1, a key input detection means 2, a microcomputer 3 and data sending means 4, 5, and the microcomputer 6 combines the fetched data to generate a command in itself. Furthermore, the microcomputer 6 checks whether or not the power is supplied to any telephone set through the command. In such case, when the content of the command means the power supply interruption, the microcomputer 6 sends a logic L signal to an inverter 7 to turn off a transistor (TR) 10, then no power is supplied to a power generating means 9. The key operation from the telephone set 21 of an extension number 1 controls the power supply to optional telephone sets 22-2n except the extension number 1.</p> |
