PURPOSE:To achieve a longer life of a battery, by a method wherein an alarm switch at a first alarm mechanism is closed to generate an alarm sound when a set alarm time coincides with the current time and then, an alarm switch of a second alarm mechanism is opened to stop the alarm sound after a short time passes. CONSTITUTION:In a first alarm mechanism A, when with the rotation of a constant speed rotation wheel 6, a set alarm time coincides with the current time, a projection 6a of the constant speed rotation wheel 6 drops into a hole 2a of an alarm wheel 2 and an alarm switch is closed to generate an alarm sound. Then, after a specified short time passes, a projection 60a of a constant speed rotation wheel 60 in a second alarm mechanism B drops into a hole 20a of an alarm wheel 20 and the alarm switch is opened to stop the alarm sound. In this manner, the alarm switch is opened automatically in a short time. This eliminates waste consumption of a battery even when a sound stop button is not depressed erroneously thereby enabling a longer life of the battery. |
