<p>Device (1) for the removal, from a mass of material (2), of a predetermined volume (3) thereof, comprising a chamber (4) open at its base (5) whose free internal volume corresponds to the volume (3) of the sample to be removed, a sheath (9) which hugs the outer walls (8) of the chamber such that it may slide freely over these walls (8), means (10) provided on these walls to rest on the rim (11) of the sheath to stop it sliding over the chamber when its base is introduced into the material, and means (14) positioned on the outside of the sheath and designed to interact with the material so as to hold it there while the chamber (4) is being withdrawn from the material. <IMAGE></p> |
