PURPOSE:To prevent the fine and stable adjustment of ink pressure from being made impossible by the excessive increase in the load of a pump, by a method wherein a pressure pump is energized at the initial stage by a low current after the power source of an apparatus is turned ON and, when a predetermined condition is formed thereafter, the current supplied to the pressure pump is adjusted by the duty or level control of pulse current supply so as to indicate the energizing of a standard current. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is switched on, a microprocessor 31 initializes an input/output port and sets each control element to a safe state. When initialization is finished, the microprocessor 31 allows a pump driver 21 to turn ON at first and subsequently outputs and sets a current supply indicating signal to a valve driver 24 to energize a solenoid change-over valve to a filter head current supply state. Then, a preparation timer is turned ON. Hereupon, the microprocessor 31 waits for the preparation timer to time out and reads the state of each part during waiting and outputs state data to higher level machine or an operation board according to the state. When each part is in a printable and recordable state and the preparation timer times out, phase searching begins. |
