<p>A coin operated dispensing apparatus for cards tickets or the like which employs a control circuit for generating credit pulses in response to deposit of a coin into the apparatus. The credit pulses are employed to actuate the card dispensing mechanism whilst dispensing of each card from the apparatus is sensed to cause the dispensing mechanism to cease operation when the correct number of cards has been dispensed. The dispensing mechanism employs a slide member having a first element on which a stack of cards rest and a second element which engages the lowermost card in the stack when the dispensing mechanism is actuated.</p> |
