PURPOSE:To obtain granular paste suitable as a stabilizer, forming no undissolved lump of flour, having instant solubility in water, readily handleable, by spraying water upon fluidized water-soluble paste granules of powder and drying. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble powder paste such as xanthan gum, hydroxypropyl cellulose, etc., fluidized by warm water, etc., is sprayed with water and optionally an alcohol or another water-soluble organic solvent. Then the paste is dried to give the aimed granular paste which has particle size wherein the whole amount passes through a sieve of 12 meshes and remains in a sieve of 100 meshes and shows apparent volume >=1.3 the apparent specific volume of raw material of paste powder. |
