PURPOSE:To achieve a high quality color recording, by making the winding force of a second power transmission mechanism stronger when an ink ribbon travels independently than the winding force at the time when a ribbon winding roll rotates through a first power transmission mechanism during recording, thereby preventing the color shift caused by the difference of the winding force. CONSTITUTION:During recording, the rotary force of a ribbon winding motor 29 is transmitted frictionally as a small force to a clutch gear 18 through a first power transmission mechanism comprising a clutch board 19, a first clutch spring 20 and a gear 21 so as to rotate a ribbon winding roll 8 thus winding up an ink ribbon 6 with a small force. When the ink ribbon 6 travels independently, the rotary force of the ribbon winding motor 29 is transmitted directly to the clutch gear 18 through a second power transmission mechanism comprising gears 26, 27 and a second clutch spring 28 so as to rotate the ribbon winding roll 8 thus winding up the ink ribbon 6 with a large winding force. Consequently, the ink ribbon can be wound with a proper winding force and color shift can be prevented during recording resulting in a high quality color recording. |
