PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from a decrease of its output, by increasing an advance timing resetting speed of the ignition timing in accordance with a lapse of time when a knock is not cuased. CONSTITUTION:A voltage generator 6 has a trigger input terminal setting its generated voltage to a prescribed level. Connecting a trigger input of the voltage generator 6 to an output of a comparator 3, while an output of the voltage generator 6 to an integrator 4, an output voltage dropping speed (advance timing resetting speed) of the integrator 4 is controlled. The voltage generator 6, being triggered by an output pulse of the comparator 3, causes the voltage to drop from the prescribed level. In accordance with the voltage of the voltage generator 6, the output voltage dropping speed of the integrator 4 is controlled. In short, from a point of time when the generation of knocking disappears, the advance timing resetting speed increase as the time passes. In this way, an engine is prevented from a decrease in its output. |
