摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To compensate the temperature characteristic of photo-detecting currents by bringing the temperature coefficient of a resistor, through which the photo-detecting currents from a light-receiving element flow, to a positive temperature coefficient compensating the negative temperature coefficient of the photo-detecting currents. CONSTITUTION:The light-receiving element 6, which receives beams from a light- emitting element 5 and generates the photo-detecting currents, and the resistor 7 through which the photo-detecting currents from the element 6 flow are mounted. The temperature coefficient of the resistor 7 is made the positive temperature coefficient compensating the negative temperature coefficient of the photo-detecting currents. The positive temperature coefficient of the resistor 7 is formed by at least two resistance regions RA, RB having mutually different positive temperature coefficients. Accordingly, the temperature coefficient of the resist or combining a temperature compensation can be realized without lowering the accuracy of resistance value and changing the standard manufacturing process of an IC.</p>
