<p>The mechanism for plane laminating boards etc. comprises (a) laminating section having a driven upper and lower endless belt to receive the laminating materials between them; (b) heating means over at least part of that section; (c) pressure rollers at the end of section; and (d) adjustable means to pressurise at least one belt towards the other. The pressurising means comprises box-shaped elements with a flexible wall facing the respective belt and filled with a pressurisable medium, pref. oil. The elements may be connected to a common variable pressure source or to individual variable pressure sources.At least some of the elements may contain or be provided with heating elements or the medium may circulate in a closed circuit with external heating means.</p> |
