This invention relates to a protection or interruption device which can be mounted on a mast, the line terminals (2) (which are mounted in a supported manner on a frame (1)) having contacts (6) for protection devices (7). The frame, which extends out of a mast, is intended to be as light and rigid as possible. This aim is achieved in that a plastic moulding (1) is used as the frame, which moulding has a covering part in the centre on whose two opposite sides openings (19) are provided on which the line terminals (2) are mounted.
