摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness by forming an emulsion layer with an emulsion having a particle size distribution having a specified coefft. of fluctuation related to the particle sizes of silver halide particles and contg. a compound which cleaves after a reaction with the oxidized product of a developing agent and reacts with the oxidized product of another molecule of the developing agent to cleave a development retarder. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion layer is formed with at least one kind of singly dispersed emulsion having a particle size distribution having <=0.25 coefft. of fluctuation S/gamma related to the particle sizes of silver halide particles (S is standard deviation related to the particle sizes and gamma is the average particle size) and contg. a compound which cleaves after a reaction with the oxidized product of a developing agent and reacts with the oxidized product of another molecule of the developing agent to cleave a development retarder.
