PURPOSE:To obtain a clear image with a photosensitive material even after the material is stored for a long period on under severe conditions, by incorporating an acetylide compound and a salt consisting of an anion and a cation into the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer contg. silver halide, a reducing agent, a polymerizable compound, an acetylide compound represented by formula I and a salt consisting of an anion having a greater affinity for a transition metal M than an acetylide anion (R-CidenticalC<->) and a cation of an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, ammonia or an org. base is formed on a support. In the formula I, R is alkyl or the like, M is an n-valent transition metal atom and n=1, 2 or 3. A typical concrete example of the acetylide compound is represented by formula I-1. Sodium diethyldithiocarbamate is a concrete example of the salt consisting of an inorg. cation and an org. anion. |
