<p>PURPOSE:To perform stable treatment, by supplying sewage, which is obtained by preliminarily separating the suspended substance in org. sewage, to a biological treatment tank packed with a particulate packing material and provided with an air diffuser to biologically treat the same. CONSTITUTION:Raw water 1 flows in a mixing tank 3 through a raw water tank 2. An inorg. flocculant 19 is added to the mixing tank 3 to be mixed with raw water 1 to allow raw water to flow in a flocculation tank 4. An org. high-molecular flocculant 20 is added to and uniformly mixed with raw water 1 in the flocculation tank 4 to form the suspended substance in raw water 1 into flocs. The secondary flocculated reaction liquid subsequently enters a sedimentation tank 5 to be separated into a floc group and supernatant water and the flock group is sedimented to the bottom part of the sedimentation tank 5 to be concentrated and discharged out of the system as sludge 23 while supernatant water is supplied to a biological treatment tank 6. By this method, more effective aerobic biological treatment can be performed.</p> |
