PURPOSE:A liquid polymer composition having improved lubricating characteristics, viscosity characteristics and oxidation stability in a wide temperature range, obtained by blending a specific liquid low-molecular-weight ethylene.alpha-olefin copolymer with a specific amount of a specific high-molecular- weight polymer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. liquid low-molecular-weight ethylene.alpha-olefin copolymer which consists of 30-70mol% ethylene component unit and 70-30mol% alpha-olefin component unit, has 150-2,000 number-average molecular weight and <=3 value Q of weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight is blended with (B) 0.05-15pts.wt. high-molecular-weight polymer which has >=20,000 number average molecular weight and <=6 value Q and soluble in the component A to give the aimed liquid polymer composition.
