PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with improved light stability, suitable for films, fibers, etc., by incorporating a polyolefin resin with each specified amount of specified 2-(2-hydroxy-3-allyl-5-substituted phenyl)benzotriazole compound, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin (e.g. of ethylene, propylene) with (B) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of at least one kind of 2-(2-hydroxy-3-allyl-5-substituted phenyl) benzotriazole compound of formula I (R1 is alkyl or aralkyl; X is H or halogen) [e.g. 2-(2-hydroxy-3-allyl-5-methylphenyl)benzotriazole] and (C) 0.001-5pts.wt. of at least one kind of hindered phenyl phosphite compound of formula II (R2 and R3 are each H or alkyl; R4 and R5 are each alkyl, etc.) [e.g. tris(2,4-di- tertiary butylphenyl)phosphite]. |
