Date Dec. 3, 1987.A toothbrush blank having a handle, a pair of head portions provided with a plurality of bristles receiving bores on one side of the head portions, and a narrow hinge-forming V-shaped cavity or groove formed on the same bristle receiving side of the head portions. The V-shaped groove enables the head portions to be bent in a convex arch so that the bristles can be cut and polished in a common plane. Thereafter the head portions are bent toward each other into a finished condition where the side surfaces of the V-shaped groove form support abutments which are glued or welded against each other.</p> |
