The invention refers to a pumping station especially for waste and clean water pumping. The pumping station is designed to be lowered into the ground and anchored to a base plate (5). The pumping station includes a jacket closed from top to bottom (1, 2) that has ducts (14, 16) for an inlet pipe (15) and an outlet pipe (17) connected to a tube system (12, 13) and a pump (11). For stiffening the pumping station bottom and for enabling the removal of water leaked inside the pumping station, the lower part has a stiff base plate element (20) that stiffens the bottom and has a depression for collecting leaked water (22) it is either pre-fitted or can be fitted with a suitable water pump (24) to pump out the leaked water that has been collected.<IMAGE>
