The invention relates to an assembly system of the mortice and tenon type which can be easily mounted and dismounted. The first of the components to be assembled comprises a mortice in which the ends of the second and of the third components engage, which components comprise one or more tongues in the shape of a bevel and one or more grooves and which interlock in one another; the forcible interlocking of the end of the second component into the end of the third component generates a high pressure of the lateral faces of the tongues on the lateral faces of the mortice with which they are in contact due to the slight deformation as a consequence of the bevelled shape of the tongues. The number of tongues and of grooves, their dimensions, the size of the angles formed by the planes of the lateral faces of the tongues with the median plane of the mortice are chosen so as to have good securing of the three components together and high rigidity of the assembly.
