The lengthwise joint secures two parts together which fit one inside the other. A locking member (4) hinges on a transverse axis (8) with a portion (6) on the inside engaging in a portion (7) of the inner part (2). The outer part (1) has a clamp (5) sliding over the locking member, which is wedge-shaped and has a tongue (10) at the opposite side of its hinge axis. This allows release of the member, either manually or by the clamp. |
