The invention relates to a sectional profile for producing a metal vine stake. This sectional profile is obtained by stiffening a metal sheet by means of discontinuous press-formed (dish-shaped) ribs. The sectional profile is then bent according to the use required. For vine stakes it is bent into the shape of a vee and drilled with holes. <IMAGE>
